O Lull BU Sl;i S S Branch. A letter ;was prose:-_ted from the City Council in rc_�.ards to a e7er received from the Burlin,'arte Civic Improvement Club. This letter stated that the developers of the -ills Estate should dedicate a library and ;rounds opposite the park developer,ent in Subdivision Ito. 5 in the -ills Lstate. The receipt of this letter was noted and initialed by the .::embers of the Board present. Irs. Harrison stated that possibly we should carry on the ne;otiations throumh the developers of the .Tills Estate that have been previously proposed. i.irs. Gohendet a_Treed sayin,,; that we do not want to find ourselves in the sante predicamert as the school systems, knorinre that possibly Te may need a branch library at some future date, and when that titre comes, being forced to pay an e,.cessive cost for the site. r. 1-ki.rns stated that he would be ;greatly in favor of it if vie were to obbain a free lot. 12Irs. Harrison stated that a possible option for the purchase of a lot or a free lot should be investi-ated. The librarian stated that a study of a si:ri lar co?mY._anity, such as Sari -:-vino, should be made to deter_- ne the extent of their branch developement in a corn-n-=ity that used their library as troch as do the farlin.7q e citizens.
