The librarian's report was accepted and the financial statement was approved
and placed on file.

Proposed New Branch. Mr. Crosby stated that there seems to be some confusion
as to theexac� lot which was being reserved for the libraryas indicated by
',r. Aubrey Glanr- and that he would investigate further as to the lot.
Friends of the Library Group. 1Irs. Cohendet reported that hse had been

Stack Lxtensiono As costs seem to be the most important item, the City

joining the library or contracting for library service from the Burlingame
Public Library.

A letter was read. from 11r. W. C. Gillam in regards to the gifts of his picture
"The Victory" to the libraryo The Library Board of Trustees accepted the

The proposed budget was discussed and on a motion by Tvir. Crosby and seconded
b,,r T;Irs. Cohendet it was accepted. with the Jndl'cation that the money, if any,
for the two unindicated items for the lease purchase and the reserve for the
main building extension be added at s- later date.

occupancy seriously interffres with the children's use of the room and that
the conversation and final tallying of the results are undesirable. It was

be denied.
