DECEMER 19, 1956
Trustees Present: bars. Harrison, Mrs. Cohendet, Mr. Cargill, bW. Crosby,
Mr. Edward.
Trustees Absent: None.
At this time, 'mss. Harrison welcomed the new member of the board,
Mr. Ralsey Jack Edwards.
MINUTES
The minutes of the previous meeting of November 28, 1956 were read and approved.
BILLS
On a motion made by :alr. Edwards and seconded by Mr. Crosby, bills in the amount of
$2,099.76 were ordered paid.
LIBRARIAN'S REPORT
The Librarian's report was read and accepted and the financial statement was
approved and placed on file.
OLD BUSINESS
New Branch Site. The Librarian reported that additional information as to the
placement of the elementary school had been received. That it was to face on
Trousdale, and it is quite possible that the anticipated traffic from the school
children would not develop, as the intermediate school children are driven by bus
to school and very little foot traffic actually passes upon Quesada. Therefore,
the site between the two schools may not be as objectionable as it was originally
thought. Further investigation will be made, as the architect for the elementary
school has not actually located the portion of the elementary school building
upon Trousdale Avenue.
Friends of the Library. Mrs. Cohendet stated that the Librarian's report was

Non-Resident 11embership by Contract. Mr. Lechich stated that pertinent information
had been forwarded to ivlr. Stein, the city manager of Hillsborough.
Stack Addition. Some of our problems were explained to ,,Ir. Edwards. No action
was taken.
ADJOURNMIT
On a motion by bars. Cohendet and seconded by Mr. Edwards, the meeting was adjourned.
