MINUTES OF TIE,, FLEETING CF THE BURLINGAME PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD FEBRUARY 27, 1957 - Trustees Present: P.Irs. Harrison_, Trus. Cohendet, Mr. Cargill, Mr. Crosby, Trrr. Edwards. Trustees Absent: None. P.iINUTES The minutes of the previous meeting of January 16, 1957 were read and approved. BI LLS On a motion made by Mr. Cargill and seconded by PLrs. Cohendet, bills in the amount of ;•1,824.68 were ordered paid. LIBRARIANIS REPORT The LibrarianIs report was read and accepted and the financial statement was approved and placed on file. OLD BUSINESS New Branch Site. 11r. Edwards stated that he had net with the Librarian and v ewe e proposed site. After some discussion it was moved by Mr. Edwards and seconded by PIr. Cargill that the Librarian and Mr. Edwards meet with Mr. White and discuss the next move in the process necessary for acquiring the proposed site. Non-Resident Membership by Contract. The Librarian stated that Mr. Stiene, My Planager of Hillsl5orougri, proposed that the Librarian collect information relating to the use of the library by Hillsborough students of Burlingame High School. A survey has been submitted to the high school. Stack Addition. Mr. Edwards and Prs. Cohendet will meet with the Librarian and prepare a inancial program for incorporation in the proposed budget. NEV BUSINESS Railings at E_ntry_. It was moved by Mr. Cargill and seconded by Prir. Edwards �'�wo ra iil ngs-be installed at the entry to the library at a cost of 050.00. Meeting Date. It was moved by Mr. Cargill and seconded by Mr. Crosby that th e mon�tTiTy meeting of the Board be changed to 8 p.m., the second ti eeday �%.' of each month.
