MINUTES:
T e m nutes of the previous meeting of July 8, 1958 were read and approved.
BILLS
On a motion by Mr. Crosby and seconded by Mr. Edwards, bills in the amount of
$3,550.50 were ordered paid.
LIBRARIAN'S REPORT
The rar an's report was read and accepted.
MONTHLY FINANCIAL STATEr1ENT
The financial statement was approved and placedon file.
OLD BUSINESS
Budget. The Librarian stated that the final budget had not as yet been received
rom the City Manager but that he understood the only changes made necessary were
those required by the new salary ordinance.
Branch Site. Mrs. Cohendet inquired as to the standing of the present negotiations
with E�Iementary School Board in regard to the branch site at Franklin School..
. The Librarian stated that Mr. White said negotiations would be continued in the
early fall.
ADJOURNMENT
On a motion by Mr. Edwards and seconded by Mr. Crosby, the meeting was adjourned
with an expression of sympathy to Mrs. Harrison for her loss in the recent death
of her husband.

With the start of school, the children's library has been ',:,.uey in a differ-
