RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH ERLER & KALINOWSKI, INC. (EKI)
TO PROVIDE PROGRAM MANAGEMENT SERVICES
FOR THE WATER SYSTEM AND WATER QUALITY IMPROVEMENTS
FOR FISCAL YEAR 2003/2004, CITY PROJECT NO. 80720
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame:
WHEREAS, Erler & Kalinowski (EKI) was retained in 2002 to provide program
management assistance in developing and implementing the City's systemwide improvements to the
City's water system; and
WHEREAS, EKI has demonstrated excellent skills in assisting, designing, and managing
the initial stages of that improvement program; and
WHEREAS, an agreement with EKI to continue that work for the coming fiscal year is in
the public interest and will advance the improvement program in an effective, efficient manner,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED AND ORDERED:
1. The Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A between the City and Erler & Kalinowski,
Inc. is approved.
2. The City Manager is directed to execute the Agreement on behalf of the City and the City
Clerk is directed to attest to the signature of the Manager.
I, DORIS MORTENSEN, Deputy City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, do hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 16th day of
JUNE, 2003, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: BAYLom, COFFEY, GALLIGAN, JANNEY, O'MAHONY
