RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
ADOPTING OPERATING AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGETS
FOR THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2004
RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF BURLINGAME that:
WHEREAS, the City prepares an annual budget to plan expenditures in light of expected
revenues; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received the proposed budget from the City Manager,
conducted a public study session on May 28, 2003, and conducted a public hearing on June 16,
2003, at which time the Council received all testimony and documentation submitted in
connection with the budget; and
WHEREAS, the proposed budget as submitted and amended makes wise choices in
spending and funding among competing programs and services,
NOW, THEREFORE, IS ORDERED AS FOLLOWS:
1. The operating and capital improvement budget requirements for the coming year of
the City of Burlingame as detailed in the copy of the Budget on file in the Office of the City
Clerk are hereby adopted for the City of Burlingame for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2004.
2. The budget total is $70,279,587 and consists of:
General Fund of $32,255,327;
Water, Sewer, Golf, Parking, and Waste Enterprises $16,411,830;
Capital Improvement Fund $19,994,000; and
Financing Authority and Shuttle Grant $1,618,430.
I, DORIS MORTENSEN, Deputy City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, do hereby certify
that the foregoing resolutions were introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on
the 16' day of June, 2003, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
