It is interesting how true to pattern yeaaly and monthly ci.r ulaation ffgass agree. MEETINGS Ar?EN ED The Librarian, Mrs. Bergring, Miss OWN and Mrs. Cohe det, attended the C.L.A. Convention in Pasadesso The wretIng was ane of the most successful conventions that the C.L.A. has so far canducted. TA speichas mr;n ence tionally good, and the various minor meetings were well attended. Of the various Ideas and plans dei=eYped at the convention, the possible reactivation of the "last copy" programs will have great sIgnifleance in the Inter®libraary loan field. We should probably join this program if it is rentivated May sending copies of our shelf list cards to the Union Catalog in the State LibrAryo We have riany books on this that could be used if others knew was had them. `leis service would partly repay our use of Interlibrary loan. The idea that has been pwoposcd from time to time that we could be a little Huntington does not seem to be too far fetched. Certainly. in this community there are m ny works of art and many valuable books which could be donated to the library and a "little Huntington* could be demtoped. Along this lire, we have recently received a wall hanging valued at $550, and two nineteenth century tapestries valued at $950. The present value of the tapestries now owned by the libury is aver $25,000 — a not so poor beginninix Respectfully submitted, George Paul Leebtch L i braari aan Phi rm 6F t1C15BER 1§60 1 q II=6T BALANCE Mri 1s: O'kir ALL.M+I ;Cr T07t',AL Sol Salaries 6 ,435 .49 26 , 841.28 80067.00 53, 225 .72 Mm11 Supplies 25.57 784.63 1,,200.00 415.37 Mml2 Printing & Postage 12.88 658.65 11,800.00 1,141.35 Mm13 Light.
