RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AGREEMENT WITH
PARKING COMPANY OF AMERICA TO PROVIDE SHUTTLE BUS SERVICES
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame:
WHEREAS, the free shuttle services serving the community have provided important
service between the commercial areas and transit facilities of the City; and
WHEREAS, Parking Company of America has provided the vehicle and the operators on a
reliable and safe basis; and
WHEREAS, the shuttle service to BART will end with the opening of the Millbrae BART
station and a new shuttle serving Mills Hospital and the Sisters of Mercy facility will begin in the
coming months; and
WHEREAS, the proposed agreement will extend the relationship between the City and
Parking Company of America for three years under a revised agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED AND ORDERED:
1. The City Manager is authorized and directed to execute the Agreement between Parking
Company of America and the City as contained in Exhibit A hereto.
2. The City Clerk is directed to attest to the signature of the City Manager.
I, DORIS MORTENSEN, Deputy City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, do hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the Igth1ay
of May , 2003, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
