OF THE
BURLINGAME PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD
June 20, 1962
Trustees Present: Trustee Harrison, Trustee Cohendet, Trustee DeMartini
Trustees Absent: Trustee Moody, Trustee Lynes. In the absence of Chairman Moody,
Mrs. Harrison acted as chairman. Mr. DeMartini was welcomed as
a new member of the Library Board.
MINUTES
Minutes of previous meeting of May 15, 1962 were read and approved.
BILLS
On a motion by Mr. DeMartini, seconded by Mrs. Cohendet, bills in the amount of
$5,414.30 were ordered paid.
LIBRARIANtS REPORT
Mrs. Cohendet suggested that a letter be written to the Women's Auxiliary of the
Lion's Club thanking them for help in the summer reading club.
MONTHLY FINANCIAL STATEMENT
The financial statement was approved and placed on file.
OLD BUSINESS
Disposition of property. The Librarian stated that no action was taken by the
City Council. Mr. DeMartini stated that he attended the Council meeting and felt
that no action would be forthcoming until the parking district was actually formed.
Non-resident fees. After a brief discussion, it was tabled until the next meeting.
COMMUNICATIONS
A letter from John Coleman commending the library was read.
NEW BUSINESS
ADJOURNMENT
On a motion by Mrs. Cohendet, seconded by Mr. DeMartini, the meeting adjourned.
