BURLINGAME "PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD
March .18, 1963
Trustees Present: Trustee Harrison, Trustee Cohendet, Trustee «Moody, Trustee Dellartini.
Trustees Absent: Trustee Lynes, who was excused as he had another unavoidable
commitment.
BILLS
On a motion by Trustee DeDlartini, seconded by Trustee Harrison, bills in the amount of
62,397.14 were ordered paid.
LIBRARIAN'S REPORT
The Librarian's report was read and accepted.
MONTHLY FINANCIAL STATEiIENT
The financial statement was approved and placed on file. Trustee Moody noted that we
seemed to have more money in books and maps than should be warranted at this time of the
year. The Librarian stated that there was a considerable sum earmarked for books that
had been ordered but not yet received. The fund would be overdrawn if all books ordered
by the 1st of June had been received by that date.
OLD BUSINESS
Branch Site. Trustee Dellartini stated that he had been at a school meeting at which
eer a n representatives of the Mills Estate area had attended. There was some discus-
sion at this meeting of a library site on the Elementary School property, and Trustee
DeMartini understood that such a site was still favorably looked upon.
NEN BUSINESS
Budvet. The Librarian submitted the tentative budget, which was reviewed in detail.
Ater some discussion, it was moved by Trustee DePblartini, seconded by Trustee Cohendet,
that the budget as submitted by the Librarian be accepted.
ADJOURIEMIT
The meeting; was adjourned on a motion by Trustee Cohendet, seconded by Trustee
Dellartini.
