BURLINGAME PUBLIC :LIBRARY BOARD
September 16, 1963
Trustees Present: Trustee Harrison, Trustee Moody, Trustee DeMartini.
Trustees Absent: Trustee Cohendet, Trustee Lynes.
MINUTES
Minutes of the previous meeting of August 19, 1963 were read and accepted.
BILLS
On a motion by Trustee DeMartini, seconded by Trustee Harrison, bills in the
amount of $2,641.96 were ordered paid.
LIBRARIAN'S REPORT
The Librarian's report was read and accepted. As an extension of his remarks
in the report, concerning the effect of the passage of the State Aid Bill,
the Librarian read the minutes of the meeting on Sept. 11th of the library executives
of San Mateo County. After considerable discussion, it was agreed by all that any
agreements entered into be perused carefully in order to protect our present in-
dependent status.
MONTHLY FINANCIAL STATEMENT
The financial statement was approved and placed on file.
OLD BUSINESS
Charging Machines. The Librarian explained that the representative of the Dickman
Charging Machines stated that it may be possible to use an addressograph plate
in place of the number, and that Monterey County is working on this idea. He is
getting more information and will make a further report.
ADJOURNMENT
It was moved by Trustee Harrison and seconded by Trustee DeMartini that the
meeting be adjourned.
