MINUTES
�in�'Utes of the previous meeting of November 18, 1963, were read and approved.
BILLS
�n a motion by Trustee Cohendet, seconded by Trustee DeMartini, the bills in the
amount of 42,923.93 were ordered paid.
LIBRARIAN 1S REPORT
T e Librarian s rep ort was read and accepted.

OLD BUSINESS
C-harp;np ac ine_s. The Librarian_ reported that the charging machines have been
ordered and should be delivered sometime in the month of January.
Planning Grant. All papers and documents have been forwarded by the Librarian to
the State Librarian for processing of the request for a planning
grant to be used to determine the advisability and extent of a cooperative system in
conjunction with neighboring libraries.
NEW BUSINESS
Franklin School Property. A letter concerning the Franklin School property was
received from 34mrixitendent of Burlingame School District,
George White, in regard to the use of 693 sq. ft. portion for an addition to the
City pumping station. After some discussion, it was decided that the Board would
view the site and determine if such an area removed from the Branch building site
would be detrimental to library plans. They agreed to meet the following morning.

On a motion by Trustee DeMartini, seconded by Trustee Cohendet, the meeting was
adjourned until 12:00 noon the follovI ng day, December 17th, 1963.
