HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 069-1979that: RESOLUTION NO.5q - 79 RESOLUTION VACATING AND ABANDONING WALK BETWEEN LOTS 6 AND 7, BLOCK 34, MILLS ESTATE NO. 11 RESOLVED, by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame WHEREAS, Sections 1930, et seq., of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California allows this Council to summarily vacate and abandon portions of a street or walk which have been superseded by relocation; and WHEREAS, there was dedicated to the City of Burlingame a ten -foot right-of-way for a walk between lots 6 and 7 in Block 34 of Mills Estate No. 11, as that subdivision is recorded in Volume 46, Page 36 of Official Maps of the County of San Mateo; and WHEREAS, it has been recommended that said walk be vacated and abandoned and superseded by relocation; NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby ORDERED AND DETERMINED that the walk dedicated between Lots 6 and 7 of Block 34, Mills Estate No. 11, is vacated and abandoned, said walk being super- seded by that ten -foot easement set forth on that map described as "Parcel Map of a portion of Block 34, Mills Estate No. 11, Burlingame," which parcel map was approved by the Burlingame City Council on August 6, 1979, and recorded in Book 48 of Parcel Maps at Page 51 , Official Records of the County of San Mateo, on November 5 , 1979, 7/26/79 11 1 I, EVELYN H. We were never informed of the recording of the map. I have checked with the Recorder's Office and the subject map was recorded on November 5, 1979, at 12:09 p.m. in Book 48 at Page 51.
