PROPERTY TAX REDUCTION BY
CITY OF BURLINGAME FOR
1979-80 FISCAL YEAR
RESOLVED, by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame
that, pursuant to the provisions of AB -8, Chapter 282, Statutes
of 1979, Section 100, $600,000,00 of property tax ,revenues for
1979-80 be returned to the property taxpayers of the City of
Burlingame in the form of a tax reduction on the 1979-80 property
tax bills. This $600,000.00 reduction reflects the approximate
amount of "state bailout" funds received for 1978-79 and estimates
for 1979-80 which the City Council hereby orders returned to
the taxpayers of Burlingame.
I, EVELYN H. HILL, City Clerk of the City of
Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
20th day of August, 1979, and was adopted thereafter by the
following vote:
AYES; COUNCILMEN: AMSTRUP, BARTON, MANGINI, MARTIN.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: NONE
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: CROSBY
