RESOLUTION NO. 6-74
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT TO
COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO
RESOLVED by the City/4�9kn Council of Burlingame ; that
WHEREAS, on December 4, 1978 ; this City/OF Council did
authorize the execution of a Cooperation Agreement with the County of
San Mateo for the funding and implementation local Housing and Community
Development Block Grant Projects in the current and ensuing program
years; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that said agreement be '..amended in a
certain particular accordance with instructions received from the
United States Department of Housing and Community Development, and
this City/Town Council having received, read and considered said amendment,
and having determined that it is necessary and desirable .that the same be
executed for and on behalf of the City/gx of Burlingame
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved that the City Manager of
this City/Town Council be, and he is hereby authorized and directed
to execute said amendment for and on behalf of the Citygz= of
Burlingame and the Clerk shall attest his/her signature thereto.

AMENDMENT TO COOPERATION AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, on December 4, 1978 , the City/ -Ems of Burlingame
(hereafter "City/Town"), and the County of San Mateo (hereafter "County")
did execute a Cooperation Agreement for the operation of the County's
Housing and Community Development Block Grant program for program years
1978 and beyond; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to instructions received from the United States
Department of Housing and Urban Development, said Cooperation Agreement
must be amended as provided below: and
WHEREAS, the parties hereto desire to so amend said Cooperation
Agreement:
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED between the parties hereto,
that said Cooperation Agreement be, and the same is hereby amended as
follows: -
Paragraph # 2, "Term", is repealed, and a new and different Paragraph
# 2 is enacted to read as follows:
"2. Term. The term of this agreement shall be for program years
1979-1981 and may be extended upon mutual agreement of the parties for
periods of one or more program years subject to the provisions of the
Act as it currently exists or may subsequently be amended, and further
subject to the lawful regulations of HUD, and subject to the mutual
agreement of the parties with regard to the content of future Plan
applications by County."
Except as so amended herein, said Cooperation Agreement shall
remain in full force and effect for said term, and any extension
thereof.

Agreement with San Mateo County for implementation of the HCD program.
On March 6, 1979, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 039602,
authorizing execution of the Amendments to Cooperation Agreements.
