RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO THE
BURLINGAME LIONS CLUB TO CONDUCT A FOOT
RACE UPON CITY STREETS, SUBJECT TO AP-
PROVAL BY THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANS-
PORTATION
WHEREAS, the Burlingame Lions Club has requested
permission to conduct a foot race, the "LIONS LOOP," upon the
streets of Burlingame on Sunday, June 10, 1979; and
WHEREAS, the route of the foot race will be on
California Drive, Burlingame Avenue, El Camino Real and Broadway,
all streets within the City of Burlingame;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Burlingame as follows:
The City Council does hereby grant permission to the
Burlingame Lions Club to conduct one and four mile foot races upon
the streets of Burlingame, to wit, from California Drive to
Burlingame Avenue, to EI Camino Real, to Broadway, and then back
to California Drive, on Sunday, June 10, 1979, between the hours
of 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon, subject to approval from the State
Department of Transportation.

hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at
la regular meeting of the City Council held on the 4th day of June,
1979, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
