HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 037-1979RESOLUTION NO. 37 - 79 AMENDING OPERATING AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET CITY OF BURLINGAME, FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 1979 RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame that: WHEREAS, on the 11th day of September, 1978 the CITY COUNCIL adopted the budget for 1978-79 in the amount of $9,276,456 for operating, enterprise, and special revenue funds and $2,756,374 for capital projects and equipment replacement funds;;and WHEREAS, on the 5th day of February, 1979 the CITY COUNCIL amended the budget for 1978-79 to include $56,608 in fringe benefits increases for 1978-79; and WHEREAS, it is now necessary to amend the 1978-79 budget to reflect our current financial position, including supplementary appropriations of $1,500,000 for a new or remodeled police.station, $477,000 for Bayside Park, $950,000 for self-insurance reserves and $850,000 for contingency reserves; NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved, that the amended budget for the City of Burlingame for 1978-79 is adopted in the amount of $11,133,064 for operating, enterprise and special revenue funds and $4,733,374 for capital projects and equipment replacement funds. I, EVELYN H. HILL, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced at a meeting of the City Council held on the 4th day of June, 1979, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote: AYES: COUNCILMEN: AMSTRUP, BARTON, MANGINI, MARTIN NOES: COUNCILMEN: NONE ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: CROSBY Cit Clerk
