AWARDING CONTRACT
SIDEWALK REPAIR PROGRAM, 1979 1980
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation for
bids for the 1979-1980 Sidewalk Repair Program (Job No. 821); and
WHEREAS, on May 1, 1979, all bids received were opened before
the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works; and
TJFEREAS, SAROTT CONSTRUCTION COMPANY submitted the lowest
bid for said job of $40,977.50;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED
that the bid of SAROTT CONSTRUCTION COMPANY for said Job No. 821
in the sum of $40,977.50 be, and the same hereby is, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the City
of Burlingame for the performance of said work, and that the City
Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized for and on behalf of
the City of Burlingame to execute said contract and to approve
the faithful performance bond and the labor and materials bond
required to be furnished by the contractor.
