HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 082-1980that: RESOLUTION NO,82 -. 80 RESOLUTION REQUESTING EXCLUSION OF TERRITORY FROM THE BURLINGAME HILLS SEWER MAINTENANCE DISTRICT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Burlingame WHEREAS, it has been requested that certain property owned by Vladimer Sommer be annexed to the City of Burlingame, WHEREAS, said land currently is within the Burlingame Hills Sewer Maintenance District and, pursuant to Section 4926 of the Health and Safety Code, it is necessary and desirable that it be excluded from said District upon its annexation to the City NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND DETERMINED by the City Council of the City of Burlingame that the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo is hereby requested to exclude the territory described in EXHIBIT A hereto from the Burlingame Hills Sewer Maintenance District upon the annexation said territory to the City of Burlingame. HILL, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 15th day of December, 1980, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote: AYES: COUNCILMEN: Amstrup-Barton-Mangini-Martin NOES: COUNCILMEN: None ABSENT: COUNCILMEN; Crosby f �,/ z2e.� ty Clerk 12/10/80 PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF BURLINGAME (Lands of Sommer and Portion of Canyon Road) - BEGINNING at a point in the corporate limits line of the City of Burlingame, California, as established by the annexation to said City of Ordinance No. 511, 'adopted June 18, 1951, by the City C6uncil of said City, said point being the most Easterly corner in the boundary of the Lands of Sommer, as said lands are described in a Deed filed in Volume 7215 of Official Records of San Mateo County, _ California, at page 436 (10456-AK); THENCE from said point of beginning, along the boundary of said Lands of Sommer, North 65' 19' West 30.06 feet, South 49' 28' West 66.00 feet, South 71' 29' West 14.70 feet, North 35' 19' West 30.00 feet, South 85' 15' West 110.00 feet, South 72' 29' 30" West 11.20 feet, North 88' 49' West 41.3_� feet, South 33' 01' West 45.20 feet and South 42' 32' 30" - West 38.40 feet to the Northerly line of Canyon Road, as said Toad is shown on a map entitled "Burlingame Hills No. 2, San Mateo County, California" filed in Volume 14 of Maps at page 18, San Mateo County Records; THENCE leaving said _boundary of the Lands of Sommer, South 16' 38' 10" West 40.00 feet to a point in the Southerly line of said Canyon Road; THENCE along said Southerly line of Canyon Road, Easterly along the arc of a curve to the left, said curve having a radius �of 425 feet,.a central angle of 17' 57' 10"-and a center which bears North 16' 38' 10" East from the last mentioned point, an arc distance of 133.17 feet to a point of reverse curvature; THENCE continuing along said Southerly line of Canyon Road,. Easterly along the arc of a curve to the right, said curve having a radius of 375 feet, a central angle of 21' 54' 43" and being tangent to the last mentioned curve, an arc distance of 143.28 feet to a point in the corporate :limits of Burlingame adopted December 1, 1952 by Ordinance No. 532; THENCE along said corporate limits South 69' 33' 57" East 53.78 feet and on the arc of a curve to the right, tangent to the preceding course, having a radius of 236.20 feet, a central angle of 21' 00' 17", an arc length of86.59 feet to a point of cusp with the corporate limits as adopted by said Ordinance -No. 511; THENCE northwesterly -and northerly along said corporate limits and .the westerly line of Summit Drive the POINT OF BEGINNING.
