RESOLUTION NO. 71 - 80
AWARDING CONTRACT
AIRPORT BOULEVARD WATER IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT MATERIALS
PROJECT NO. 030
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation
for bids for Airport Boulevard Water Improvement Project Materials
(Project No. 030); and
WHEREAS, on November 10, 1980, all bids received were
opened before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, (1) EDWARD S. WALSH CO. submitted the lowest
bid for Schedule I of said Project I+Iaterials in.the amount of
$23,619.86; and (2) JOHNS-MANVILLE SALES CORP. submitted the
lowest bid for Schedule II of said Project Materials in the amount
of $42,941.48;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED and it is hereby ORDERED
that (1) the bid of EDWARD S. WALSH CO. for Schedule 1 of the
Project Materials for Project No. 030, and (2) the bid of JOHNS-
MANVILLE SALES CORP., for Schedule II of the Project Materials
for Project No. 030 be, and the same hereby are, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works
be, and he hereby is, directed to issue the requisite purchase
orders to effect the acquisition of said Project Materials.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at
a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 17th day of
November, 1980, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
