RESOLUTION NO. 70 80
AWARDING CONTRACT
DUTCH ELM DISEASE CONTROL PRUNING
JOB NO. 035
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation
for bids for DUTCH ELM DISEASE CONTROL PRUNING (Job No. 035); and
WHEREAS, on November 7, 1980, all bids received were
opened before the City Clerk, the Director of Public Works and
the Park Director; and
WHEREAS, DAVEY TREE SURGERY COMPANY submitted the
lowest bid for said job in the amount of $30,600.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED and it is hereby ORDERED
that the bid of DAVY TREE SURGERY COMPANY for said Burlingame Job
No. 035 in the amount of $30,600.00 be, and the same hereby is,
accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the
City of Burlingame for the performance of said work, and that the
City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized for and on behalf
of the City of Burlingame to execute said contract and to approve
the faithful performance bond and the labor and materials bond
required to be furnished by the contractor.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at
a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 17th day of
November, 1980, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
