AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 2,
CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING
SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE CONSTRUC-
TION OF SLUDGE HANDLING FACILITIES WITH
GEORGE S. NOLTE AND ASSOCIATES
RESOLVED, by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame,
California, and this Council does hereby FIND, ORDER and DETERMINE
as follows:
1
1. The public interest and convenience require execution
of the agreement cited in the title above.
2. The City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to sign said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame.
3. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and instructed to
attest such signature.

IN CONNECTION WITH THE CONSTRUCTION
OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME SLUDGE HANDLING FACILITIES
AMENDMENT NO
The following is an amendment to the agreement dated
February 13, 1980 between the CITY OF BURLINGAME, CALIFORNIA and
GEORGE S. NOLTE AND ASSOCIATES.
In accordance with a recent audit by the State Water
Resources Control Board setting a provisional rate for 1980, the
following changes are made to the Agreement under the provisions
of Appendix C.
1. The provisional overhead rate for 1980 shall be

2. On page 2, under "Payment for Services", change the
2nd sentence to read "The payment under the Cost
Plus Fixed Fee method of contract is estimated to
be $43,340.78 direct labor, $72,335.76 indirect costs,
$2,000.00 printing, $51,436.00 subcontract costs,
$24,550.00 profit, for a total price of $193,662.54.
3. In Appendix D, remove the EPA Form 5700-41 dated
April 14, 1980 and replace it with the attached
EPA Form 5700-41 dated October 3, 1980.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of Burlingame, State of
