RESOLUTION NO. 53 80
A14ARDING CONTRACT
1980.WASHINGTON PARK IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NO. 016
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation
for bids for 1980 Washington Park Improvement (Project No. 016);
and
WHEREAS, on August 21, 1980, all bids received were
opened before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works;
and
WHEREAS, ARTHUR H. SHOOTER, INC., submitted the lowest
responsible bid for said job in the amount of $110,641.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is hereby
ORDERED, that the bid of ARTHUR H. SHOOTER, INC., for said Burl-
ingame Project No. 016 in the amount of $110,641.00 be, and the
same hereby is, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered
into between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and
the City of Burlingame for the performance of said work and that
the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized for and on
behalf of the City of Burlingame to execute said contract and to
approve the faithful performance bond and the labor and materials
bond required to be furnished by the contractor.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at
a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 2nd day of
September, 1980, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
