AWARDING CONTRACT
INSTALLATION OF FIRE ALARM SYSTEM AT
MAIN LIBRARY
JOB NO. 010
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation
for bids for the Installation of Fire Alarm System at Main Lib-
rary (Job. No. 010); and
WHEREAS, on July 15, 1980, all bids received were openec
before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, WESTERN AUDIO VIDEO submitted the lowest bid

for said job in the amount of $14,184.00; and
WHEREAS, it may be determined that additional fire
detectors over the number listed in the specification may be
determined to be necessary;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is hereby
ORDERED, that the bid of WESTERN AUDIO VIDEO for said Burlingame
Job No. 010 in the amount of $14,184.00 be and the same hereby is
accepted and that the Director of Public Works is authorized to
negotiate a work order for additional fire detectors determined
to be necessary in an amount not in excess of $3,000.00 in addi-
tion to said contract amount.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered
into between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and
the City of Burlingame for the performance of said work, and
that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized for and
on behalf of the City of Burlingame to execute said contract and
to approve the faithful performance bond and the labor and
materials bond required to be furnished by the contractor.

I, EVELYN H. HILL, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame,
do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at
a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 21st day of
July, 1980, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
