ORDERING THE VACATION OF PUBLIC UTILITY
EASEMENT - PORTIONS OF LOTS 28 AND 29,
BLOCK 6, EASTON ADDITION TO BURLINGAME,
AND APPROVING PARCEL MAP RESUBDIVIDING
SAID LOTS ,
RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame:
WHEREAS, said City Council did on the 16th day of June,
1980, adopt its certain Resolution No. 40 - 80, entitled,
"Resolution Declaring Intention to Vacate and Abandon Public
Utility Easement - Portions of Lots 28 and 29, Block 6, of the
Easton Addition to Burlingame," declaring its intention to vacate,
abandon and close certain public easements which are particularly
described on that map designated "Parcel Map of Easton Addition
No. 1-A," dated March, 1980; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 40 - 80 recites that said
proceedings were being taken under and pursuant to the Public
Service Easement Vacation Law of the State of California, and ex-
pressed the election of this Council to proceed under said law;
and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 40 - 80 was duly adopted,
published and posted in the time, manner and form provided by law,
all as appears in the Affidavit of Publication and Declaration of
Posting on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS, Notices of Easement Vacation were conspicuously
posted, in the manner required by law, along the lines of the
easements proposed to be vacated, which said notices stated the
time and place of hearing, and the adoption of said Resolution
No. 40- 80; and

WHEREAS, Monday, the 7th day of July, 1980, at the
hour of eight o'clock p.m., at the Council chambers of the City
Council in the City Hall in the City of Burlingame was fixed in
said Resolution No. 40 - 80 as the time and place when and where
any and all persons interested should appear and offer evidence
in connection with said vacation of said easement; and
WHEREAS, after hearing the evidence, the City Council
finds that said public utility easement hereinabove described is
unnecessary for present or prospective public use;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that said public
utility easement hereinabove described be, and it hereby is,
vacated and abandoned, and said described parcel map is hereby
approved.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at
a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 7th day of July,
1980, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
