RESOLUTION NO. 40 - 80
RESOLUTION DECLARING INTENTION TO VACATE
AND ABANDON PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT -
PORTION OF LOTS 28 AND 29, BLOCK 6, OF
THE EASTON ADDITION TO BURLINGAME
RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame:
1. That the public interest and convenience require,
and it is the intention of said Council to vacate, abandon and
close that certain public utility easement which is situated in th
City of Burlingame, County of San Mateo, State of California, and
is particularly described in EXHIBIT A attached hereto, incorpor-
ated herein and made a part of this resolution by reference. Said
easement is located on portions of Lots 28 and 29, Block 6, of the
Easton Addition to Burlingame.
2. The City Council hereby elects to proceed under the
Public Service Easements Vacation Law, Sections 50430 through
50445 of the Government Code of the State of California.
3. Notice is hereby given that Monday, the 7th day of
July, 1980, at 8:00 o'clock p.m., at the Council Chambers of the
City Council in the City Hall, in the City of Burlingame, is
aereby fixed as the time and place for hearing of persons inter-
=_sted in the proposed vacation of said easement.
4. The Clerk of said City shall cause this resolution
o be published twice in the SAN MATEO TIMES, a newspaper of
eneral circulation published in the County of San Mateo and
lated in said City, which said newspaper is hereby designated
r that purpose.

The notices shall be posted

not more than 300 feet apart and at least three (3) such notices
stating the time and place of hearing and the passage of this
resolution shall be posted.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at
a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 16th day of
June, 1980, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
