AUTHORIZING DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN .
RECORDS, DOCUMENTS AND PAPERS
WHEREAS, Section 34090 of the Government Code of the State of
California provides that with the approval of the legislative body by
resolution, and with the consent of the City Attorney, the head of a city
department may, with certain exceptions, destroy any city record, document,
instrument, book or paper not less than two (2) years old, without making a
copy thereof, and after the same is no longer required; and
WHEREAS, the F;nan D;, -tor has recommended
the destruction of certain records, more particularly described below;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Burlingame,
California, does hereby RESOLVE AND DETERMINE as follows:
1. Pursuant to Section 34090 of the California Government Code,
the Finance Director . of this City be, and
he is hereby, _auMrTIZW to destroy the following records, documents
and papers in the possession of his office and which are more than
two (2) years old:
All those documents as set forth on EXHIBIT
A attached hereto.
2. None of said records, documents and papers constitute records
affecting the title to real property or liens thereon, court records,
records required to be kept by statute, or minutes, ordinances or
resolutions of .the City Council, or of any City board or commission.
EVELYN H. HILL, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, California,
does hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular
meeting of the City Council held on the 2nd day of June 0A 1,980
and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN:Amstrup- Barton-Crosby-Mangini-Martin
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None

I consent to the destruction of the records, documents and papers
more particularly described in the foregoing Resolution.
