RESOLUTION NO.35 80
RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO
THE BURLINGAME LIONS CLUB TO CON-
DUCT A FOOT RACE UPON CITY STREETS
SUBJECT TO APPROVAL BY THE STATE
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
WHEREAS, the Burlingame Lions Club has requested per-
mission to conduct a foot race, the "LIONS LOOP," upon the street:
of Burlingame on Sunday, June 15, 1980; and
WHEREAS, the route of the foot race will be on Califor-
nia Drive, Burlingame Avenue, E1 Camino Real and Broadway, all
streets within the City of Burlingame;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Burlingame as follows:
The City Council does hereby grant permission to the
Burlingame Lions Club to conduct one and four mile foot races
upon the streets of Burlingame, to wit, from California Drive to
Burlingame Avenue, to E1 Camino Real, to Broadway, and then back
to California Drive, on Sunday, June 15, 1980, between the hours
of 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon, subject to approval from the State
Department of Transportation.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at
a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 2nd day of June.
1980, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
