RESOLUTION NO. 30 - 80
RESOLUTION AMENDING OPERATING AND CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT BUDGET - CITY OF BURLINGAME,
FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30. 1980
RESOLVED, by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame
WHEREAS, Article XIII B of the California Constitution
provides that a city may establish reserve funds for various
purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City's current financial position makes it
necessary to amend the 1979-80 Budget to establish and make
additions to specific reserve funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED that the following
supplementary appropriations and transfers to the 1979-80
Budget are authorized:
1.
Sewer Capital Improvements - Transfer
from
General Fund to Capital Project Fund
$1,000,000
2.
Dump Closure Project - Transfer from
General Fund to Capital Project Fund-
Bayside Park
500,000
3.
Increase City Self -Insurance Reserves
to unicipal o e limits:
Workers Compensation
450,000
Liability Insurance
50,000
4.
Police Station Project - Transfer from
General Fund tc Capital Project Fund
to cover land or building costs
500,000
5.
Reserve for future capital projects -
Transfer from General Fun to apital
Improvements Fund - Broadway Overpass

I, EVELYN H. HILL, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame
do certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at a
regular meeting of the Burlingame City Council held on the
19th day of May, 1980, and was adopted thereafter by the follow-
