AWARDING CONTRACT
SOLIDS MANAGEMENT IMPROVEMENTS
AT THE MILLBRAE AND BURLINGAME
WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANTS
(BURLINGAME JOB NO. 906A)
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation
for bids for the Solids Management Improvements at the Millbrae
and Burlingame Wastewater Treatment Plants (Job No. 906A); and
WHEREAS, on December 13, 1979, all bids received were
opened before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, BEPCO, INC., submitted the lowest responsible
bid for said job in the amount of $444,585.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is hereby
ORDERED, that the bid of BEPCO, INC., for said Burlingame Job.
No. 906A in the amount of *444,585.00 be, and the same hereby is,
accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the
City of Burlingame for the performance of said work, and that
the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized for and on
behalf of the City of Burlingame to execute said contract and to
approve the faithful performance bond and the labor and materials
bond required to be furnished by the contractor.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at
a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 5th day of May,
1980, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
