WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Burlingame,
on July 6, 1942, entered into an Agreement with the Burlingame
Elementary School District, wherein an arrangement was entered
into for the purpose of promulgating recreational activities
for the City of Burlingame; and
WHEREAS, the parties to said Agreement are desirous
of modifying and changing said Paragraph Number Three in the
aforesaid Agreement as the same is set forth in the attached
Agreement modifying said Paragraph Number Three;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT R»SOLVED that the Mayor and
City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized for and in behalf
of the City of Burlingame, to execute and deliver the said
Agreement hereto attached.
The foregoing Resolution was introduced and adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council, of the City of
Burlingame, held on February 7, 1944 and adopted by the following
vote:

AGREEMENT
This hgreement, made and entered into this 74� day of
February, 1944, by and between the �Aty of Burlingame, a municipal
corporation, the party of the first part, and the Board of
Trustees of the Burlingame Elementary School district, the party
of the second part.

�M'R�EAS, the parties hereto on the 6th day of Jul,
1942, entered into an agreement having for its purpose the
promulgation of recreational activities in the City of -Burlingame,
a nd
I RRF AS, the said parties hereto are desirous of modi-
fying and changing paragraph Number Three in the aforesaid a,,ree-
ment;
NO i, =REFORE, the said parties hereto do hereby agree
that the said paragraph dumber `three shall be amended and altered
so that as so amended and altered the said paragraph slumber 1hree
shall read as follows:.
3. - The parties hereto agree that an assistant to the
Superintendent of ttecreation will be necessary to take charge of
the added program herein provided for and that the compensation
for such assistant shall be fixed and determined from time to
time by agreement made and entered into by the parties hereto and
that such agreement shall be appended and made a part of this
contract. One half of the amount so fixed and determined shall
be paid by the City of Burlingame and the remaining one half shall
be paid by the Burlingame elementary School District.
