RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Burlingame-:
'VJHEREAS, certain weeds are Rrowin� in said
City of BurlinIc-),ame upon the various streets, squares,
lanes, alleys, avenues, courts and places within said
municipality and upon private property within said
municipality, which said weeds bear seeds of wingy
or downy nature and with such large growth as to be-
come a fire menace when dry, and are otherwise noxious
and dangerous, and
nuisance.
IdH. AREAS, said weeds constitute a public
NOT,dj "-K7,RE?ORE, it is hereby declared that
the said weeds do now constitute and will continue to
constitute a, public nuisance, and it is ordered that the
said public nuisance be abated in the r,,ianner provided by
law, and that such nuisance exists upon all the streets,
squares, lanes, alleys, avenues, courts, and places
within the City of Burl inFzare.
The Dronerties unon which said nuisance exists
are all of the streets, squares, lanes, alleys, courts,
avenues, .daces and private property within said City,
as shown, described and delineated on the several maps of
the nronerties of said City which are recorded in the

office of the County _'ecorder of the County of San I;ateo,
reference in each instance for the description of any
particular street or -property being hereby made to the
several maps aforesaid, and in the event of there be-
in:� several subdivision maps upon which the same lotp
are shown, reference is hereby made to the latest eub-
division map.
%nd it is ordered that Ionday, the 20th day
of Lcaroh, 1944, at the hour of eight o'clock, P.L. of
said day, and at the Council Chambers of the City
Council of the City of Burlingame, located in the City
Hall of said City, be and the same is hereby fixed as
the time and place when objections to the proposed re-
moval of such weeds shall be heard and Riven due con-
sideration.
The Sunerintendent of Streets of said City of
Burling..s:me is hereby ordered and directed to cause notice
of said hearing to be given in the time, manner and form
provided by law.
I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true
copy of a Resolution adopted by the City Council of the
City of Burlingame, California, at a regular meeting
thereof held on the2lst day of February,, 1944, by the
following vote of the members thereof:
