'dHEREAS, a general municipal election was held in the
(City of Burlin-ame on Tuesday, the llth day of ;r_,ril, 1944, and
WHEREAS, notice of said election was duly and regularly
given as required by lave; that voting precincts were duly estab-
lished; that election officers were appointed and voting supplies
furnished, and in every respect and manner the said election
was held and conducted, and the votes cast were received and
canvassed, and the returns thereof made and declared within the
time, and manner prescribed by the law of the State of C-.lifornia
controlling eleeti.ons in cities of the sixth class; and,
!°FHEREaS, The City Council of said City of 3urli-1,icr me
duly convened at the usual place on Tuesday, the 18th day of
April, 1944, to canvass the returns of said election and install
the newly elected officers, and as a result of such canvass, the
said City Council finds that the number of votes cast, the
-persons for whom such vote was cast, and all other matters requires
by law, are as hereinafter stated:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That the said election held in the City of Burlingame
on Tuesday, the llth day of April, 1944, was conducted in the
time, manner and form required by the law of the State of
California governing elections in cities of the sixth class;
That there were eleven (11) voting precincts established
for the purpose of holding said election, said -precincts bein¢
a consolidation of the regular election precincts established
for holding Feneral state and county elections and were con-
solidated as follows:

Voting Precinct "a_" comprised of State and County
Precincts Numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6.
Voting Precinct "B'r comprised of State and County
Precincts Numbers 5, 20, 21 and 36.
Voting Precinct "C" comprised of State and County
Precincts Numbers 7, 8, 9 and 14.
Voting .Precinct ''T!" comprised of State and County
Precincts Plumbers 10, 11, 12 and 13.
Voting Precinct "'E" comprised of State and County
Precincts 'Numbers 15, 169 17 and 22.
Voting Precinct "F" comprised of State and County
Precincts Numbers 18, 19, 23 and 24.
Voting Precinct "G" comprised of State and County
Precincts Numbers 26, 26, 27 and 32.
Voting i recinct "F" comprised of State and County
Precincts IYumbers 33, 43, 44 and 45.
Voting Precinct "I" comprised of State and County
Precincts Lumbers 34, 36, 41 and 42.
Voting Precinct "J" comprised of State and County
Precincts Lumbers 28, 291 30 and 31.
Voting Precinct "_'" comprised of State and County
Precincts Numbers 37, 36, 39 and 40.
That the total number of votes cast in said consoli-
dated precincts was 2,226;
That at each consolidated precinct, the total vote
cast, the number of votes received by each person, the persons
receiving such votes for councilmen, are as follows:
