RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
PROVIDING FOR BONUS PAMAENTS TO CITY 22LOYEES
WHEREAS, it has been the policy of the City Council to
provide a bonus payment to each of its employees to aid in
meeting the increased cost of living; and
WHEREAS, the time of bonus payments heretofore provided
expires on June 30, 1944; and
91HEREAS, the City Council desires to continue the policy
of such bonus payments to the employees of the city;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Burlingame
does hereby resolve:
That commencing July 1, 1944, and continuing thereafter
until concluded by an order of the City Council, the sum of
twenty-two dollars and fifty cents, per month, shall be paid
each regular Civil Service employee of the City of Burlingame.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that part time Civil Service
Employees and employees on Civil Service probation, be paid an
amount in proportion to the time employed bears to the amount
of the monthly bonus payment herein provided.
The foregoing Resolution was duly introduced and adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Burlingame
held on June 19, 1944, by the following vote:
