RESOLUTION NO.
71HEREAS, certain municipal employees of the City are using
their individually —owned automobiles in connection with their employment,
and in performing the duties required of them in such employment, and
WHEREAS the City Council is desirous of making an expense
allowance to said employees for the use of their automobiles in City work;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Burlingame does
hereby resolve:
THAT John J. Harper be, and he is hereby awarded the sum of

Thirty Dollars ($30.00) per month;
THAT Shirley Smith be, and she is hereby awarded the stun of

Thirty Dollars ($30.00) per month;
THAT June Stumbles be, and she is hereby awarded the sum of
Ten Dollars ($10.00) per month;
THAT Carolyn Fisher be and she is hereby awarded the sum of
Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) per month.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the award herein provided for the
aforesaid employees shall continue until the further order of the City
Council, and shall be retroactive as of July 1, 1944.
The foregoing resolution was duly introduced at a regular meet—

ing of the City Council of the City of Burlingame, held on August 2S, 1944,
and was adopted by the following vote:
