RESOLUTION NO. 33 - 411
ACCEPTING OFFER OF PROPERTY FOR EXTENSION
OF CAROLAN AVENUE
WHEREAS, William S. Leadley and Mary W. Leadley, his wife,
Donald W. Leadley, a single man, the owners of the real prop-
rty described in the attached Deed have offered to convey the
itle of the said property to the City of Burlingame for the im-
t of Carolan Avenue in consideration that the said prop-
y will not be assessed for any further expense for said improve-
t, the said property already having been improved with curbs,
ters, sidewalks, sanitary and storm sewers, all constructed at
expense of the owners with the approval of the City Engineer
the City of Burlingame; and
WHEREAS, the acceptance of such offer will be to the advantage
the City of Burlingame;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
f Burlingame that the offer of the aforesaid grantors be accepted
nd that the title to the property described in the annexed Deed be
lso accepted by the City of Burlingame pursuant to the offer of tY
rantors made to the City of Burlingame under date of August 14,
1944.

The foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Burlingame held on September 5,
1944, and adopted by the following vote:

W. LEADLEY, a single man the first parties,hereby Grant to THE
CITY OF BURLINGAME, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, the second party,
all that real property situated in the City of Burlingame County
of San Mateo State of California, described as follows:
A strip of land twenty feet (20.001) in width
adjacent to and parallel with the northeasterly
line of Carolan Avenue, said strip of land being
the southerly twenty feet of Lot 14, Block 12,
Burlingame Gardens Subdivision, as shown on that
certain map entitled "Burlingame Gardens, Burlin-
game, Calif." recorded May 15, 1940 in Book 22
of Maps at pages 66 and 67, and more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the southwesterly corner of Lot 1(},
Block 12, Burlingame Gardens Subdivision as above
described; thence along the northwesterly line of
Lot 14 N 270 341 E 20.00 ft; thence S 620 26f E.
50.00 feet parallel to and distant 20.00 feet from
the northeasterly line of Carolan Avenue to the
southeasterly line of said Lot 14; thence along the
southeasterly line of Lot 14 S270 341 W 20.00 feet
to the northeasterly line of Carolan Avenue; thence
along the northeasterly line of Carolan Avenue N 620
26, W 50.00 feet to the point of beginning and con-
taining 1000 square feet of land.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said first parties have executed
this conveyance this 25TH day of DULY, 1944.
