MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE BURLINGAME PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD September 16, 1964 rTrustees Present: Mrs. Harrison, Mr. Moody, Mr. Lynes, Mr. DeMartini Trustees Absent: Mrs. Cohendet MINUTES Minutes of the previous meeting of August 19, 1964 were read and approved. BILLS On a motion by Mr. DeMartini, seconded by Mr. Moody, bills in the amount of $3,768.97- were 3,768.97- wera ordered paid. LIBRARIAN'S REPORT The Librarian's Report was read and accepted. MONTHLY FINANCIAL STATEMENT The Financial Statement was approved and placed on file. OLD BUSINESS Credit Bureau The Librarian reported that the Library is in the process of making definite arrangements with the Credit Bureau to handle the collections of overdue library materials or payment thereof from the patrons who ignore our reminder notices. COMMUNICATIONS Mr. Lynes stated that the letter sent by Mrs. Powell, the Children's Librarian, to the Franklin School in regard to the children's summer reading program was read over the inter- com to all of the children. Mr. Lynes stated that the program was enthusiastically received. NEW BUSINESS A letter from Mrs. Powell submitting her resignation with regret was read by the Librarian. After a bief discussion, the resignation was accepted with great regret by all those present. ADJOURNMENT On a motion by Mr. Moody, seconded by Mr. DeMartini, the meeting was adjourned.
