RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 59-2002 TO INCREASE THE NOT -TO -EXCEED AMOUNT TO BE
APPLIED FOR IN THE STATE REVOLVING FUND LOAN APPLICATION FOR
THE WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO.9948
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame:
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 59-2002 authorized the City Manager to apply to the State
Water Resources Control Board for financial assistance for the City's Wastewater Treatment
Facility Improvement Project, City Project No. 9948; and
WHEREAS, the City has made the application and received bids to perform the
construction; and
WHEREAS, the amount of the low, responsive bid received plus the other costs eligible for
the loan now amounts to approximately $10,800,000,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED:
1. The amount for which the City Manager is authorized and directed to execute and file, for
and on behalf of the City of Burlingame, a Financial Assistance Application for a loan from the
State Water Resources Control Board is increased to an amount not to exceed $10,800,000, for the
planning, design, and construction of the City's Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvement
Project.
2. All other terms and provisions of Resolution 59-2002 remain in full force and effect.

I, DORIS MORTENSEN, Deputy City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, do hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 5th
day of May 2003, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
