RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME AWARDING
CONTRACT FOR PREPARATION OF WATER SYSTEM MASTER PLAN
TO ERLER & KALINOWSKI, INC. AND
APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame:
WHEREAS, the City is preparing to undertake a major rehabilitation plan for the City's
water delivery system; and
WHEREAS, the City interviewed three qualified consulting funis to select one to prepare a
City Water System Master Plan that would calculate and forecast water demand, evaluate the water
system infrastructure, and identify alternatives for a master water system plan; and
WHEREAS, Erler & Kalinowski, Inc. is familiar with the City's water system and has done
quality work on capital improvement project management and conversion from chlorine to
chloramines; and
WHEREAS, Erler & Kalinowski, Inc.'s proposal is fairly priced and well -reasoned,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED AND ORDERED:
1. The City Manager is authorized and directed to execute the Agreement with Erler &
Kalinowski, Inc. as generally contained in Attachment A hereto.
2. The Clerk is directed to attest to the signature of e Manager.
