RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
APPOINTING MEMBER OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA REGIONAL WATER SYSTEM
FINANCING AUTHORITY
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame:
WHEREAS, Water Code sections 81600 and following create the San Francisco Bay
Area Regional Water System Financing Authority; and
WHEREAS, Water Code section 81629 requires the City to appoint a representative to
the board of directors of the Authority who is a registered voter of the City and resides within the
City limits for an initial term of two or four years to be determined by lot at the first meeting of
the board; and
WHEREAS, the Authority will be a key to the future of the supply of water to the
residents and businesses of the San Francisco Bay Area and the future of the City,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
1. Rosalie O'Mahony is appointed as a director of the San Francisco Bay Area
Regional Water System Financing Authority representing the City of Burlingame for the term to
be determined pursuant to Water Code section 81631(b).
I, ANN T. MUSSO, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, do hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 18tiday
of February ,2003, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
