HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 099-2004RESOLUTION 99-2004 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME AFFIRMING ACCEPTANCE OF DEED OF INTERESTS IN EASTON ADDITIONS NO. 1, NO. 2, NO. 3, AND NO.4 RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame: WHEREAS, on January 10, 1916, Ansel M. Easton by and through his attorney in fact executed a deed of interests in the alleyways of subdivisions that Mr. Easton had earlier created and delivered that deed to the City of Burlingame; and WHEREAS, this deed was then recorded on July 7, 1916, in volume 253 of Deeds at p. 451; and WHEREAS, acts of acceptance by the City in recording the deed, filing the deed in the City's official files, and exercising some of the rights granted to the City by the deed fulfill the necessity of acceptance; and WHEREAS, a formal resolution of acceptance will affirm the City's acceptance of the deed pursuant to State law, including but not limited to Government Code § 7050, NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED: 1. The Deed of Interests, a typed copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, is formally approved and accepted. 2. Nothing contained in this resolution shall be construed as limiting in any way the purposes to which the property may be put pursuant to State law.
