MINUTES TheMnutes of the meeting of May 19, 1965 were read and approved. BILLS On a motion by Mrs. Cohendet, seconded by Mr. Moody, bills in the amount of $7,045.84 were ordered paid. LIBRARIAN'S REPORT ® brar an s report was read and accepted. MONTHLY FINANCIAL STATE14ENT The Librarian stated that t e deficit in printing and postage was due in large part to the purchase of additional. printed identification cards, and to the mailing of unwanted magazines to the United States Book Exchange. He stated that certain book bills which should have come in May did not arrive until June. This accounts for the surplus left in books and maps. The binder did not process the latest binding shipment until too late for May billing. OLD BUSINESS Tet The Librarian discussed the error and compiled the budget and stated that e did not see why the error had not been picked up as it would be im- possible to have some extra positions in this bracket without at least a five thousand dollar increase in the bracket. He stated that he had reworked the budget in the light of the latest figures available and that the amount of un- expended balance had been increased from $2,300 to X5,000, plus possibly ,000 surplus taxes. He stated that all members of the City Council had received a copy of this budget and that the copies of the budget in the back of the Board members' books had also been revised to take into account this error. The Board expressed their approval of the new figures. PP k* Theibrarian noted that he had stated in his monthly report that he felt that as soon as the 110 lots were completed that the number of cars now parked all day on the Bellevue lot would be considerably less. He stated that he is still keeping a limited record of the number of cars parked during the day. ADJOUIiZEIIT The meeting was adjourned on a wotion by Mrs. Cohendet, seconded by Mr. Moody.
