OLD BUSINESS
Library System of Local Municipalities
The Librarian stated he invited new Trustee Guthrie to go to the meeting of the local
independent municipal librarians in order to become better acquainted with the proposed
municipal library system. Mr. Guthrie stated that he felt that very little was
accomplished at the meeting, and he personally felt that a system had very little
to offer to our library. The Librarian agreed and stated he would keep in touch
with whatever developed.
Building Program
The Librarian stated that he was working up some statistics for the use of Mr.
Hechinger for the purpose of making flip charts. It was agreed by all that every-

as well as singing traditional ballads. Mi sw Bowers volunteered her services.
On March 22nd the traditional Easter story hours will be held with the children

Registration for the Spring and Suaemer series of Pre-School story hours will be
held from March 21 to Aril 24th at both libraries.
The Department is in the process of reorganizing the picture book collection to
create a section for beginning readers. This will be known as the J T collection
