OF THE
BURLINGAME PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD
October 17, 1972
CALL TO ORDER:
A regular meeting of the Burlingame Library Board was held on the above given date. The
meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Phelan.
ROLL CALL:
Trustees Present: Trustee Phelan, Trustee Lynes, Trustee De Martini
Trustees Absent: Trustee Hechinger, excused, on vacation
Trustee Cohendet, excused, previous appointment
Also Present: Ms. Joyce Maguire, Journalist representing
THE HILLSBOROUGH BOUTIQUE and THE VILLAGER
BILLS:
Warrants in the amount of $8,645.57 and checks from the Special Fund totaling $37.63 were
ordered paid on a motion by Trustee De Martini, seconded by Trustee Lynes and carried.
MINUTES:
The minutes of the meeting of September 19, 1972 were approved and adopted.
LIBRARIAN'S REPORT:
The Librarian's Report was read and discussed.
OLD BUSINESS:
None.
NEW BUSINESS:
Change of Sunday Hours. It was moved by Trustee De Martini, seconded by Trustee Lynes, and
carried that the Library Sunday hours be changed from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., to 1 :00 p.m.
to 5:00 p.m., effective Sunday, October 29, 1972.
CORRESPONDENCE:
Herbert K. White, Finance Director/City Clerk. Trustees present stated they had all re-
ceived letter concerning absences of board members at meetings.
DONATION OF OIL PAINTING:
Trustee De Martini stated that Mrs. De Martini wished to donate an oil painting by Temenkio.
The Librarian expressed his thanks.
ADJOURNMENT:
As there was no further business, the meeting was then adjourned at 8:00 p.m. with the next
meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 21, 1972.
