OF THE
BURLINGAME PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD
November 21, 1972
CALL TO ORDER:
A regular meeting of the Burlingame Library Board was held on the above date. The meeting
was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Chairman Phelan.
ROLL CALL:
Trustees Present: Trustee Phelan, Trustee De Martini, Trustee Hechinger, Trustee Cohendet
Trustees Absent: Trustee Lynes, excused, at home recuperating from surgery.
Also Present: Ms. Joyce Maguire, Journalist representing
THE HILLSBOROUGH BOUTIQUE and THE VILLAGER
BILLS:
Warrants in the amount of $5,389.05 and checks from the Special Fund totaling $673.11 were
ordered paid on a motion by Trustee DeMartini, seconded by Trustee Hechinger and carried.
MINUTES:
The minutes of the meeting of October 17, 1972 were approved and adopted.
LIBRARIAN'S REPORT:
The Librarian's report was read and discussed.
OLD BUSINESS
None
NEW BUSINESS:
Trustee Cohendet stated that she and Trustee Phelan were going to attend the California
Library Association Convention at Disneyland. Mr. George Paul Lechich, Mrs. Patricia M.
Bergsing and Mr. Alfred H. Escoffier from the Library willalso attend.
CORRESPONDENCE:
Thank you letters from the following were read:
Mrs. Marie Mautino, retiree, for good wishes.
Mrs. Donna Hansen, Secretary, for plant and card.
The League for Service, Episcopal Church of St. Matthew, for display-
ing poster for Antique Show.
ADJOURNMENT:
As there was no further business, the meeting was then adjourned at 8:00 p.m. with the next
meeting scheduled for Tuesday, December 19, 1972.
