RESOLVED: That there is hereby established, and the
Treasurer shall be the custodian of, a fund to be known as
"Treasurer's Departmental Trust `und", into which all moneys
belonging to or received for the use and benefit of the city
by any officer or employee thereof, shall be immediately
deposited.
Duch moneys shall be paid to the Treasurer, advising
him (her) of the sources from which the same were received or
collected, and the Treasurer shall credit such officer or
employee with the amount so paid in without apportioning the
same to any specific fund.
'+ithdrawals from such fund may be made by the reasurer
only on an order signed by the proper officer or department head
and for the following purposes only;
1. The making of a refund of Bail which has been exonerated.
2. The making of refundable deposits.
3. For the correction of clerical or ministerial errors in
the receipt of payments to the city.
4. The making of settlements with city funds at the end of
each calendar month for collections accumulated during the month.
The foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular
meeting of the City Council held on September le, 1944, and
adopted by the following vote:
