HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 052-1944RESOLUTION 52 - 44 RESOLVED by the City Council -of the City of Burlingame that the layor be, and he is hereby authorized, for and in behalf of the City of Burlingame to execute the attached memorandum of agreement. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the payment of i"'125.00 as provided in said agreement be and the same is hereby authorized. The foregoing kesolution was duly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Burlingame held on November 6, 1944, by the following vote: AYES: COUNCIIVEN Dahl-Harris-Hunt-Roth-:Ihitsell NOBS: COUNCILMEN None ABSENT COUNCILJ::EN None ATTEST: 4.4 City Clerk M A G R E E Y E N T It is hereby agreed between the City of Burlingame, a Municipal Corporation, and Sisters of Yercy, a non-profit corporation, operating The Percy High School in San Y---+teo County, contiguous to City of Burlingame, that the agreement made and entered into January 19, 1942, providing for the use of a portion of the Gymnasium for 'ieeping and housinc^ fire fighting equipment belonging: to the said City, be, and the same is, by mutual consent, hereby rescinded, cancelled and of no further force or effect. It is further agreed that in consideration of the sum of OEUE I?ITYDPE:D TWETITTY-FIVE'' BOLLAA R's, ($125.00) to it in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the said Sisters of I-ercy, a Corporation, does hereby fully and entirely release the said City of Burling..,eme from any claim whatsoever it may have arising out of said agreement and the ccneellstion thereof.
