WHEREAS, the Director oi-Pztlic orks has recommended
that the City of Burlingame purchase certain property having
a frontage of z3' on Primrose Road and a depth of aprroximately
100' immediately adjacent to the alley south of Burlingame
Avenz)e for the sum of :-9,600.00, which amount the owner has
agreed to accept for the full purchase price; and
Vff..EREAS, the City Council in anticipation of such
purchase has made provision therefor in the 1944-1944 budget,
and that the said purchase price of the said property is fair
at the present market value;
FOI`V, THEREFO-RE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Purchasing
Department be, and it is hereby authorized to complete the
purchase of the said property for the said sure of ''9, 600.00
which amount is to be appropriated from the Capital Outlay
Fund.
The ioregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular
meeting of the City Council held on December 4, 1944, and
adopted by the following vote:
