HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 092-1981RESOLUTION NO. 92- 81 RESOLUTION APPROVING ANNEXATION LAND OF HEERMAN AND SPANIER RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame, California, that; WHEREAS, a proposal for annexation of certain unincor- porated territory to the City of Burlingame was heretofore filed (with and heard by the Local Agency Formation Commission of the (County of San Mateo; and WHEREAS, said Commission at its meeting of November 20, 1981, approved said annexation, finding the area to be uninhabited and that proceeding might be held without notice, hearing or election pursuant to Government Code Section 35151; and WHEREAS, the City of Burlingame has been requested to approve said annexation; that: NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby ORDERED AND DETERMINED 1. That area, the boundaries of which are set forth in EXHIBIT A and EXHIBIT B attached hereto and by reference incorpo- rated herein, is approved for annexation to the City of Burlingame. 2. Said area shall be designated the Lands of Heerman and Spanier. 3. The territory described in EXHIBIT A and EXHIBIT B shall be removed from the Burlingame Hills Sewer Maintenance District and service extended thereto by the City of Burlingame. 4. Said area shall be annexed without notice, hearing or election. 5. The subject area will not be taxed for any existing bonded indebtedness or contractual obligation of the City of Burlingame. 6. The City Clerk shall transmit to the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of San Mateo six certified copies of this resolution. q , T� �, " * Mayor I, EVELYN H. Proposed annexation of lands of Heermann and Spanier to the City of Burlingame October, 1980. Beginning at a point in the southwesterly line of Alvarado Avenue, from which the easterly corner of Lot 2, Block 1, as designed on the map entitled "BURLINGAME HILLS NO. 2 SAN MATEO COUNTY, CAIFORNIA:, which map was filed in the office of the Recorder of the County of San Mateo, State of California on August 23, 1926 in Book 14 0£ Maps at Pages 18 and 19, bears North 55.degrees 04' West 82.5 feet distant being also a point in the corporate limits of Burlingame as adopted March 1, 1920 by Ord. No. 133; thence following said corporate limits and said line of Alvarado Avenue South 55 degrees 04' East 152.5 feet; thence leaving said corporate limits south 34 degrees 56, West 123.150 feet to a point in the corporate limits of Burlingame.as adopted February 5, 1962 by Ord. No. 750; thence along said corporate limits and continuing along the corporate limits; adopted January 4, 1954 by Ord. No. 542 North 65 degrees 09' 50" West 154.001 feet to the intersection thereof with the corporate limits adopted August 20, 1951 by Ord. No. 517; thence along said corporate limits North 34 degrees 56' East 150.31 feet to the point of beginning.
